What are you lot on about??????

Shall I renew my season ticket for next season? Errrr yes, why wouldn't you? If you reviewing your support after a dull 0-0 drew on a bank holiday monday then you don't deserve to support The Fleet.

We had injuries today, Manny, Jay, Protheroe and Macarthy, does this not bear any reckoning on your assumption of todays performance? How lucky are we too be where we are? Seven games left and safe from relegation, I'm telling you now Forest Green Rovers would have loved to trade positions with us right now.

Also I can't believe there have been people in here calling for the head of Daish already, how can you forget what he did for us against Carlisle? The mans head is in the right place.

Can't think of anything else to say but...... errr..... you know that if you don't renew that season ticket you will live to regret it.

Harry, I'm guessing that a lot of what people are saying are just empty threats. By June when there's been about a month or two without football and the Fleet people will be forced to renew their season tickets through pure boredom. Just wait and see.

Except for.....errr..... this season of course.

why were you contamplaiting not renewing your season ticket with chelsea

Oh dear, have you not been reading the stuff I post? I have posted about 1800 messages oh here and 1799 of them have been about why I don't want to watch the premeirship.

But seeing as you ask I'll tell you.

It's dire, If I had gone to watch a match like that today but at Chelsea it would have cost me about £40 to get in.

It's a morgue premiership grounds are nowdays. Their passionless places with no spirit and loads of whys to make money.

Most of the games are on telly nowdays. £770.00 my season ticket costs and I can watch every minute of every Chelsea match within 48 hours of the kick off (on Chelsea TV).

That and a load of other reasons. I really can't get my head round why 42,250 people choose Chelsea over Gravesend.

I'll still be at the Morecambe game, Harry, just as I will be next season. As I have done so for the past 38 years.

I do not blame the players especially for the abject performance today, it was a warm day, bumpy pitch, not much to play for. Not much to inspire a player, really.

That is why you need a good manager, to inspire, motivate and MAKE THINGS HAPPEN!!

Not to make a defensive substitution with 10 mins to go , then swop centre forwards with 20 seconds to go. Utter stupidity.

It is not in isolation.

Why did Liam not bring on Moussa earlier than 110 mins into the Stortford game?

Why the very late substitution against Northwich?

Why the particular substitutions today.

Will Roy stay? After 3 minutes play in the last 2 games, probably not.

These decisions have left me and countless other fans baffled.

No changes in the last 2 mins are ever going to be match changing. They are only ever made in cases of injury or to waste time.

Or when the manager has run out of ideas.

Don't Know Harry, not had a Fleet season ticket for three years, i will go to the odd game now and again next season, i cannot commit myself to every game now, so many other things to do and yes i do also go to Gills, it is up to you to decide where you stand re-Chelsea etc, but you are a new fan as as most on this forum are, you have never known the dark days would you still be there in Conference South and beyond.

By the way Harry, it is not a dig at you or others you are to be admired for your petition duties with the Scarborough fans, but if things get tough, many fans will drop away, many fans do not even look at this forum.

I for one have dropped away and i was the one that put forward the start of donating money to the club based on the the Nuneaton idea, which led to the Fleet Trust started i think by Jessica, but i moved on, i did not agree with certain things at the Trust meeting, i also am a Gills shareholder and go to games at both Clubs when i can, but times change, circumstances change, people change.

Good question Harry.

Next time you’re at Stamford Bridge why don't you ask the fella sitting next to you why he doesn’t travel from Slough, Hounslow, Battersea or wherever he lives and become a regular at Stonebridge Road instead?

I’d be interested to see the reaction on his face.

I was generalizing, what I meant was I can't believe people choose the Premiership over non league football. When you weigh things up the play isn't really that much different but the price certinely is.

You can't blame people for doing what they do, it's totally up to them, I just think it's weird thats all.

Exactly right, Harry. Based on one 0-0 draw, people are bemoaning the side's lack of attacking ideas etc. It's hardly the run of home 0-0 draws we had to endure a few years back in the Southern Premier. In fact, such complaining reminds me of the home defeat to Aldershot, a game we could quite reasonably have expected to lose, after which the tide suddenly turned and Andy Ford allegedly became a terrible manager.

Granted, it was a poor match yesterday, but we were third in the form table before yesterday's play. Let's not pretend the griping on here after yesterday's match is anything other than a knee-jerk reaction.
