No doom & Gloom just yet !

Three home games left to atone for recent lack of points. St.Albans is a MUST win game(though they are winning games and have improved immensely). But its a game that we HAVE to take. Dorchester and Bishops Stortford too we have to win. Win those three games and I am sure it will suffice. ANY points away from home would then be a bonus. Its not all doom and gloom just yet my friends.

Sorry Cookie but I can't match your optimism - it is so much about momentum at this time of year and we seem to have little of it. It worries me that the common thread of reports from people at matches is that we are lacking in confidence and belief.

You have to wonder if all the uncertainties over grounds, councils, and in particular money being paid or not paid to players is causing our season to drift away.

I hope I am wrong mind - but this is the biggest test of CK since he joined us and I hope he and the players come through. Do agree that three home wins may see us escape, and anything away is a bonus. Mind you Bognor do have injury trouble so we may have a chance there.

What a lot we have had to endure, and now a relegation battle on top. A lot of people will have a lot of explaining to do..... although they probably won't....

Your about right Mr H!

We can talk all we like about what points we can get but it's out of our hands at the moment.

Newport & Sutton both have a game in hand AND better GD. We have better GD and a game on Carshalton but they are five points clear. That home defeat to Carshalton could prove very costly.

As stated before we need a MINIMUM 9 more points = 3 wins from 6 games imo. This is an absolute MINIMUM.We can no longer rely on other results going our way as we have dropped below the dreaded line. It is about what we do. Looking at current form and our lack of goals it is hard to pick 3 wins from our remaining games but thought the fans played their part today by cheering and applauding the players off at the end when some of them, particularly JK were absolutely devastated. This is going to be really really tough now but CK and the squad have come through so much in recent times that only a fool would write us off. If you were to say beat B Stortford at home in our last game and we stay up I would bite your hand off as things stand now.

Even though we are now in the bottom 3 if others immediately above us lose by more goals than us then it still can be said that others results can affect our final position. However it is true that it has to be in our hands and only we can really and truly get us out of this. I still have every confidence that we will indeed do that but the players, knackered or not have to put on their shootong boots and play harder. I know they may have given their all of late but they need to find that extra from somewhere and put in even more effort than they are doing. O.K. if not for bad finishing and some bad luck we could now be in a better position but you have to make your own luck sometimes and thats what we need. A liitle bit more to get the rub of the green. WE will survive!

Some one has just said some people will have a lot of explaining to do, but they probably wont.Even if we do get out of trouble, just how do you get rid of some one who should not really be there in the first place. We all know who that is. All this c**p about having faith in those who are working hard for us is absolute rubbish.JUST LOOK AT WHERE THIS MISGUIDED LOYALTY TO YOU KNOW WHO HAS GOT US!!!.Will be interesting to see who says what at the AGM.Proper Chairman and Directors say their bit,but in our position. If only the persons who we believe are people with responsibility within the Club could tell the truth, instead of just uttering KPs speel.mmmmm The phrase Puppets on a String come to mind!!!

Do have the nerve to put a name to the person you mention. If not then dont come on here and start giving it all. If that person got us the world you would still be slagging that person off. So you dont like that person but dont come on here slating that person with your words. It helps no-one. But maybe thats what you are after,to help no-one. We are looking for people to support this club and its people(all included,) not for destructive comment on someone you cant even mention. Mind you you cant even give your own name so what chance do we have of you dishing out theirs.

this is a testing time for all gate fans who this season above all others have strived for one goal a return to HDP, in this time we have struggeld to stay out of religation to stay in buisness not knowing if we will ever see the gate play again. and yet despite this the spirit amongst the fans is high even tho we are now in religation.

i really hope this spirit carrys over in the last games to the players who will need our support more than ever to grind out them results.

btw anyone know how come greeny aint playing?
