Vs. Forest Green

Recommended Posts

Well from all the comments I am glad that I missed the game as I had to go to Heathrow and collect the partner's parents after there weekend away. Sounds like a rather flat performance, which is a shame considering we have won the last two and responded to the shocking FA Tropy loss which I still cannot believe happened. Hope the team can pick it up fpr the remainder of the season as surely some of them are fighting for squad places. I still remain to be convinced that Mr Diash is the right man for the job, but we will have to wait and see!!!!

Man Of The Match should be presented before the game. For example the Canvey MOM should have been presented today before the game, just like Player Of The Month awards.

Anyway on todays game, summed up when Macca and Ben screamed to Ports the word "TIME". Ports thought it was best though to hoof the ball back into the opponents half, rather than play it on the floor out wide.

And Siggy, Man Of The Match? Hard to pick one from that lot we put out today, but not him. Missed two good chances that he should have done better with. However a great goaline clearence. As soon as that ball was headed back across, it looked to be in so well done to him.

The draw was the right result today, neither side deserved it.

Oh and one other point, Liam won't have been to impressed with Wilko's kicking. I can remember at least 3 extremely poor ones.

What an utter waste of a bank holiday afternoon. The only thing that kept me there was for the 50/50 draw. The situation is now a bit like the pre election run up Liam. You now only have two home games left to make up my mind as to whether or not I renew my season ticket for next season, and from comments around me there are plenty who feel the same way.

Poor kick, Wilko out of his goal, and the FG player might have scored. Great play from Ports with the take-out.

I don't like to keep harping on about the same subject but we sacrificed the semi-final of the Kent cup so the players would be fit for todays match....obviously well worth it.

Well don't, everything would have been hunky dorey if we'd have won the KSC? Don't think so. With injuries resulting from the Dover game, we could have ended up losing the last two matches.
Think our performance could well have had something to do with a long hard season, and a long four hour each way journey to Northwich on Saturday

What a tit you are.

Nobody said that everything would be hunky dory if we had won the KSC but it must be obvious even to the mentally challenged like yourself that if you rest players to save them for another game and then they don't perform in that game you have wasted your time.
