Windsor & Eton 0-4 Slough Town

First-half was pretty dull, but second was great. Leigh Mason was excellent and caused them no-end of problems.

Murph's hat-trick was great (apart from the pen!) but my MOM was Wilko first game back in how many weeks? Won every tackle and was awesome.

Also special mention to Danny Steer who played out of position and has played 2 games in three days after coming back from injury.

Oh and congrats to AFC (part from Ant Howard!!)

Felt that we controlled pretty much the whole game. Had more possession in the first half and passed the ball well (albeit not very progressively) although Windsor had the better chances. Second half we stepped up a gear and dominated. Windsor were anonymous accept for our hero.

Leigh Mason had a stormer as did Wilko and Smurf 2.

loved seeing Parky keep a clean sheet again...he pulled off some very good saves today too....

completely agree re: Wilko, looked awesome today... and yes I'm a new member of the Leigh Mason Appreciation Society, quality player

Impossible to pick a MOTM, the boys seriously played as a team today...

nice to see Eddie showing us some appreciation for the mad chanting that went on today too...

what an awesome day...particularly after yesterday was so sh1te

The thing Eddie would like to see re: the support, is the kind of vocal we give to the team when we're 2, 3 or 4 up when they're behind or not playing so well at 0-0. That's when they need it most, and sometimes, the support can lift the team to do something special rather than the other way round. Much better vocals today though, but that's easy to do when you're winning!

Spoke to Leigh Masons dad on Saturday after the dreadful Tonbridge game, and he said we hadn't seen the best of him and then he pulls off a performance like today....

First half was dull apart from late Leigh Mason move and amazing outburt by Chuck, second half totally dominated i even felt sorry for Windsor in the end they were so bloody awful.

Reckon there was about 800 there, but still a bit disapointing, what with nice weather and no other footie.

BFR - you certaintly are popular with the Windsor players!

re: nasty comments about slough...

whilst a lot of the cross pitch chants were all done in good nature, there were a few slightly nastier gripes I encountered whilst queuing for my burger...they even tried to get the nice lady behind the counter to join in but she was having none of it...

"we ladies have more tact" she said...
