Attendance was 642. Considering it was Windsor's home game, turnout was pretty poor.

 

The sun is shining, I haven't got to go to work tomorrow and we just beat Windsor 4-0. 150 Windsor fans is more accurate. In other words their normal home gate.

 

Was surprised at the attitude of some of the Windsor faithful. I overheard things like "the sooner they quit Stag Meadow the better" and the usual one "what's it like to have no ground?".

 

I thought the money our supporters brought to WEFC was pretty important to them. Didn't Mr. Simpson mention the amount of money spent over the bar in their clubhouse for instance?

 

By the way it was STFC people sorting out the car parking for their home game as well!

 

I guess they were just disappointed about the result.

Special mentions to Matt Murphy (obviously), Danny Steer who was excellent at centre back, Darron Wilkinson who looked like he'd never been away and Leigh Mason who is pure quality and my new favourite player. The boy is pure class (Sorry Ryan, you're still great too)!!!!!

 

Well done to the whole team though, the second half performance reminded me of the AFC game, in that we controlled it from start to finish and looked likely to score with each attack. As well as that the endless skills which even saw Wilko get involved at the end. Now THAT is pretty special!!!

The truth will come out. I thought (I've not seen the local press yet) it says in the report the rent has been paid this year and next years must be paid on 1st August and no later?

 

Anyway, great performance from the Brazillian wannabe's today. Class all over the pitch, and deserved the big margin win. All we have to do now it remember to shoot a bit more often to test the oppo keeper every now and then and we'll be well away!

Smurf2 has scored 8 goals in 7 games during March, 5 of those against Windsor. Before todays game I tipped Seedel for POTM but my opinion has just changed somewhat!!!
