Are the fans up for the fight to avoid relegation

The team needs the vocal support of the fans more than ever before.

The players, all of them, have played to their best ability all season. Often they have carried injuries and shouldnt have played. They have had to play out of position and at times without payment. CK and KR have had to manage under the most desperate of circumstances.

We have no other players than the ones we have and are unlikely to be able to sign anyone else.

The vocal support at Grays was excellent mainly thanks to the Leicester boys.

We have few games left so let us get behind the team. Remember it is our team and the only one we have.

The club does not need us to stand mute like sheep in a field.

It needs every ounce of support we can give them.

It is not only up to the players, it is up to us as well.

Was just a leicester boy on friday, but have my eye on two more games this season, rather than supporting from afar, tho my record this season stands at seen 4, lost 4. Do u want me to stay in leicester!?

Rocky and Che started. Rocky was subbed by Darren after abt 60-65 mins and 5 or so later Moses replaced Pat Gradley.

Che tried very hard, but our finishing was anything but deadly and anumber of players missed good chances.

The players tried as best they could and we were all over them. At the end of the day its goals that count. The only thing that pi**ed me off was that rocky doesnt seem to put any effort into the game.Surely he should have been replaced earlier.

As for Nej. He had agood game and his handling was good. Only one miss kick in the second half but that didnt result in a goal.

If rocky gets his [****!!****] in gear and we play as well as on monday with chances being taken, we should stay up. Its all about confidence lads.

There are some players, like Rocky, who are naturally languid. John Barnes was another (though I'm not comparing Rocky with John Barnes!) That doesn't always mean he isn't trying, just that he doesn't charge around with his eyes bulging like Phil Collins did. He is just chilled out. How often do you see him yelling at refs or squaring up to opponents? He just isn't that kind of person. Maybe it would be better if he was, but it is not in his nature.

once again i have to come out of retirement to comment on a crass statement from an annon. With the exception of perhaps one,no body could accuse the gate players of not being up for it against Cambridge. At times the lads made them look (for a 2nd place team)very very ordinary.Keep going lads, upwards and onwards. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bow.gif" alt="" />
