I do think a certain person at Eton Manor is really overdoing this moaning Romford thing.

Firstly, no complaints with Manor, although lets be fair about the moaning, your boss was doing it from the off. We must all agree the ref was awful, yes our goal may have been offside, but then he gives Manor a free kick for no apparent reason, from which you equalise. He books our player for being sort of head butted, the awards you another nonsense free kick from which you create the attack that led to the corner for the winner.

Not moaning as he was poor for both sides and very inconsistent. I was in line with the winning goal and I think it probably was legit.

At the end of the day the bumpy pitch, lightweight ball, and poor ref frustrated everyone, and a few tempers perhaps frayed as a result. However I don't think Boro have any problem with Manor and vica versa. See you agin next season and good luck!

I was skimming through his posts last night and chuckling to myself. He was obviously really fired up about Manor's rare win and desperately trying to provoke an arguement. When nobody took the bait the insinuations and abuse became more and more hysterical.

It was a poor game but when we got our noses in front I thought we would be safe. However all credit to Manor for fighting right to the end and nicking it. I could say a few things about the officials but can't really be bothered. I'm sure Reedy and the team are kicking themselves about what happened but as far as I am concerned they are all totally honest guys who always give 100% and should not be criticised.

Firstly, my comments aimed at moaning were towards your skipper, evey paying customer has a right to gripe if he or she feels the need, but the Romford 8 never stopped for the whole 90mins, with regard to the lightweight ball, when we arrived at the ground, we found to our dismay that all our match balls had gone missing, so we took a couple of the Tilbury balls, mind you your players never said much about them so i don't really see a problem there. As for the dubious free kick, lets face it the game was stop, start all afternoon, for what seemed like minor incidents. Pitch condition, we have no hold over the groundsman, in fact we don't even know him, all we do is turn up play and go home. Just for the record, Eton Manor don't have a problem with Romford or any other ESL club, but as you can imagine, our first home win of the season against a team like Romford, mate, it was like winning the bloody cup final. (god help us if we do ever get to a final)
