I'm pleased to read, you are enjoying my posts, however tongue in cheek your remark may be. Gets boring hearing the same old, same old line being trotted out by the same old faces. I must be like a breath of fresh air to this forum in pointing out Ricay are just an ordinary club like the rest of us.

Well of course Phil, we look to you to remind us that our support counts for nothing when compared to your 12,000 mile loyalty to Boretree... And lets face it, our club is soooooo ordinary....

By the way, don't you think you've discounted the feelings of every 'Ricay supporter for their club.... Ordinary or not, it's something special to us. Obviously you don't feel the same way about Boretree or you wouldn't be so dismissive of peoples feelings or loyalty to the club they support, or in fact the town they live in. Perhaps that is why you found it sooooo easy to leave this country, loyalty, support are such that they mean nothing to you...I think so.

Keep it up Gazza, you're tickling me again. I wonder how many folk would wait up till dawn as I did on the day of the Salisbury game, then till 3am for the same with Yeading and Chelmsford matches just to wait for half and full time scores? Without the chance of seeing a ball kicked. I also have the proud achievement of selling and having erected around 20 advertising boards at Cressing Road in a couple of seasons in the late 1980's. I think I'm pretty ok as a Braintree fan. More than that you haven't a clue what family connections I have here in Australia, do you know the nationality of my first wife for example? Its not good to go making assumptions, the reasons for peoples motives are many and support for football doesn't generally stand in the way, or do you disagree with this?

I first came here after being alarmed at what I saw in the public domain. Personal abuse, profanity and defamation. Yep they sure are. Much to my dissapointment! He's not under my control, if he was then he'd be a good lad, trust me. Interestingly Simon, at the time of Borgs appointment I had misgivings about it and said as much on Iron chatter, only to have a couple of Hornchurch supporters re-assure me, we'd warm to him as basically he's a good bloke (presumably a bit mis-understood).
