My sources ( Heinz and HP) tell me we've made a Seven Day Approach for a striker in the conference South. Any truth in this?

As Slough have paid you in full for this season and with all the extra money from bar & burger takings you SHOULD have loads of money.

 

However, how come you keep on pleading povity and trying to get more money out of Slough - I guess you will want Slough to pay this new players wages.

We're not poor but we just want our money on time. What's bad about that? Hardly unfair and without warning is it?

I'm sure we could live in this league with a far cheaper wage bill. With a few interesting off the pitch deals in the pipeline we'll have more than enough to get by when you get kicked out/leave/fold/

But Woody you must remember that the end of Slough would probably mean an Amalgamation with W&E, Which would be a terrible shame for both clubs- its a good friendly rivalry and apart from the half-wits and 12 year old chav's has never led to more than friendly banter.

Hey i'm the last one who wants to see Slough fold but i think we all know if they did you'd just set up AFC Slough

 

A merger wouldn't happen as we'd not make any money out of it....
