How could our new boss possibly know whether or not Sidibe is good enough - he hasn't seen him play apart from odd cameo roles !

 

And, when he had the chance to see him as our "extra man" against BS he failed to bring him on against the donkey left back and finish . them off their ten men. Most people believe this was our downfall.

 

But hey, what would us guys who have been watching Conference football for the past three years know compared with a manager who has only spent time managing Havant and Waterlooville !

PLease shut up you total lemon. As I said before, Moussa did nothing to scare their left back when he did enter the field of play against Bishops (despite the fact their defence should have been even more tired, having been on the field for even longer). Face facts, Moussa hasn't played well since Stevenage at home and apparently had a shocker at Dover in the week. It's clear to see why Daish doesn't find him good enough.

I'd thought most people would have believed our downfall, was our failure to defend a lead in stoppage time. As for bring back Andy Ford, he let some pretty good players go, Moore, Shearer, Walshe, and even Louis.

Fair points and also if Jukebox hadn't of missed several sitters in the first game (can't blame the boo boy's for those) we'd all be happy now!

Moussa should have been given a few more games, 5 mins at the end of a game is not giving him much of an opportunity, is it! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

A further point: before yesterday's action we were third in the form table, behind Barnet and Woking, I believe. Does this suggest a desperate need for a player who comes on, dives a bit and does the odd piece of skill before losing the ball?

Sorry, Bernard, but Moose has shown some remakable skill & pace in past games and to rubbish him like that is out of order. Sadly, he does seem to have done a 'Tostao' and dipped badly in form and commitment. Maybe a spell at a lower level will give him the kick up the jacksie he needs. I didn't rate Lovell too much before but he's a different player since his loan spell and hopefully it'll do the same for Moose. Having down-to-earth, no nonsense players is fine but sometimes you need a bit of flair and showboating. Football is supposed to be entertainment, after all.

I'm all for replacing players with better players and I agree Sidibe has his limitations but who has been replaced by.

 

And with ref to another post, what was bringing on Roy for 2 minutes all about, surely he was worth a crack earlier with Pinock being his usual "non-scroring" self.
