Your last thread refers to Mr Borg, Urchins and a winding up order, but this does not reveal how serious the difficulties are.

 

I have neve practised in law, but have paid more to briefs trying to get myself off charges than it would cost to clear the outstanding debt repayments of a small African nation.

 

I do though know a little about insolvancy law. Some of the terminology can sound quite frightening and emotive, but sound far worse than it really is. The first assumption is always that the sums of money involved are huge, when in fact it can be less than £1,000. So finally getting to the question, Do you know how much the winding up order relates to?

What you are saying is entirely right but sometimes if one party starts the ball rolling it may prompt others who are also owed money but have been holding off hoping things may get better, to panic and jump in as well.

 

Having said that, I have no idea of the sums involved.
