The following is a paragraph from an rather lengthy article relating to Barnet's failure to secure a new ground.

"Stevenage Borough had their whole stadium paid for by their council. Burton Albion, Northwich and Gravesend are all building new grounds," says Kleanthous.

I wonder where he got his information from relating to the 'Fleet. Perhaps things are more advanced than we thought.

It was basically about how when Barnet were in the football league they weren't able to develop Underhill and were left behind by other Clubs who were able to develop theirs.

Also, despite Barnet's dominance in the Conference this year there are still Clubs in a lower league position who are moving to better facilities and leaving Barnet behind. A situation that can only get worse if/when they regain their football league status.

Or perhaps, as a chairman of another club, he hasn't got a clue what he's talking about on this matter. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
