have any of you seen that girl that turns up to most matches wearing all red. red trousers, red top, red scarf, a big red football hat and even a red rattle. what do you think about it. maybe we should have more supporters like that?!?

I heard about a cowboy called 'The Brown Paper Kid' he wore a brown paper hat, a brown paper shirt, a brown paper waistcoat and a brown paper pair of trousers.

It's those jester hats that do me in. All those bells makes it sound like a troupe of morris dancers prancing around the place. I'll stick to the old Stone Island, if you don't mind.

Jester hats and badges all over a football club shirt - add large sideburns and it sounds just like John Portsmouth (name change by deed poll), a nutter who follows Pompeyscum and is the focal point for their singing etc at away grounds. Infamous down here for being arrested after urinating on and wrecking a seat at St Marys when Saints went 3-1 up last season.

I think I know who you mean. John Westwood I think he's name is. Or to be precise, John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood. Aka the Pompey Bell ringer. Covered in tattoos and has the words play up Pompey, Pompey play up tattoos on his chest.

 

He’s very well known for following Pompey. I’ve spoken to him at an England game a few years back and if my memory serves me correctly I think he’s got a tattoo on his face, although my description makes him sound like a hooligan he’s not at all. More of a ‘Barmy’.
