Songs....

I heard a group of youths singing a song about building bonfires against Canvey.

Went something like this...

Built a bonfire, build a bonfire,

and it finished with burn the f***ing lot!

What are the words to this song, as I'm not familiar with it?

The entire song goes as follows:

Build a Bonfire, Build a bonfire,
Put the Canvey on the top,
Put the Daggers in the middle,
then burn the f***ing lot.

Also sang by Man Utd fans towards Liverpool, Man City, The @rse or Chelsea.

It's just a matter of effort. What you've just said "ok youv got me there" is menat to be "Okay you have got me there," or "Okay you've got me there."

Your in a perfect position mate, your young and quite clever you should use those to qualities to better yourself, it didn't harm anyone to read a book every now and then you know.

Didn't realise that there were specific language rules relating to text messaging! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Where does it say that then?

Indeed, isn't the sole purpose of abbreviation when using SMS, geared towards increasing the amount of words (a loose term) in order that you achieve your full money's worth for your 8p text (or whatever your respective mobile provider charges you)?

If so, then abbreviating goes to gos doesn't exactly help with cost cutting does it?! As far as I'm concerned, I'm with Primal Scream on this one.... just drop vowels in words. TXT MSSGNG? CMPLT BLLCKS!
