"Ask the Chairman" - web commentary on Good Friday

Recommended Posts

Yeeeeeeessss 3 points ....... That surely means more than any KSC final appearance.

was not able to here the H/T chat with Brian , can someone please summarise the Q/A .

Cheers..

Re : Anon - I have also lost a bit of faith in us attracting bigger crowds than we attract at the moment. But we must regroup and go forward. Whilst it is difficult to be a Fleet fan at times , in the face of the more illustrious competition don't lose heart, we will rise like the phoenix. It is only just beginning.

Finally - Does any one know how the conference prize money is divided up. Does it partly depend on finishing position ?

Yeah 3 points and we have now won 4 out of our last 5 league matches, and at home to Forest Green Monday we will surely be looking to make it 5 out of 6 League matches won. Also you can say we could of given Halifax a bigger challenge as first teamers were rested that night. Fantastic run of results in the league. Well done Liam.

Well, I can tell you a few...

I think he said he's been in a discussion with Charlton about having a friendly with them to mark their 100 year centenary season along with our 100 years at Stonebridge Road. Nothing has been sorted yet though.

He said that either Jay Saunders or Justin Skinner is his man of the season.

It's already been said, but he said that the new stadium will be built within 3-7 years.

The board will have a meeting on Tuesday to discuss whether or not to go full-time.

Liam Daish has a contract until the end of next season.

He said that the KSC team selection was up to the manager, not him, so he didn't have too much to say on that. But he did say that he values the tournament highly and enjoyed our past wins a lot.

He said that the defeat against Bishop Stortford was his worst moment as Fleet Chairman.

Hmm possibly a few more buit that's all I can remember.
