Hey Gertcha,

 

You know I will always ALWAYS prefer Man Utd to win the league ahead of Chelsea or Arsenal, but...

 

They failed to get into the quarter-finals of this year's Champions League by being any good, so in order to make it a bit easier for them next season, they're trying to get UEFA to change the rules to favour the big clubs.

 

In all seriousness mate, shouldn't this sort of underhand tactic be left to proper cheats like the aforementioned Londoners?

Saw that, next they will be wanting the FA Cup seeded.

 

Simple, if you're the best you'll win it, clearly Man U weren't as anyone that saw them huff and puff over 2 legs against AC Milan.

They would of stuggled to beat Lyon and PSV as well.

 

Man U have only won 1 knock out tie in the Champions league since 1999, hardly fitting then is it?

 

On a note for our team Sun King, I've been informed that Spurs memberships for next season are already availale for purchase

I'm not happy about this. I think it's a joke and I'm pissed off that they have decided to go down this route.

 

The whole point about a cup competition is you get the excitement of the draw, and it's down to a bit of luck on the day. If you are worthy of winning the competition then you should be able to beat whoever you are drawn against. If you lose then tough. (I don't think the FA cup should be seeded either.)

 

That is the beauty of the cup. They might as well just have a European league if they go down this route.

 

I'm not going to defend United on this one.

Thornsy - I will look into the Membership thing. Sounds a bit early to me, but maybe they're chucking in the last two or three games from this season in too?

 

I assume you're still intending to purchase one? If so, perhaps we can all go to the Blackburn game on the last day together. It's on a Sunday now, I believe.
