LOL have just laughed my [****!!****] off at the penalty footage because

a) I have a deeper voice than i thought with my "Come on Jamie" comment and

Martin's sarky response ..."because i'm your biggest fan" cracked me up

Of course the other thing to laugh at on the penalty clip is our good friend Mr Hedgehog shanking the ball to the right as he tried to kick it back to the centre spot. A true legend.

Bout time Sauls got a chance from the spot after all the misses we have had, as he did take them for Thame last season. Wilko and Kassim apparently were in shock when James stepped up as they never have even seen him take a pen in training!

The Hedgehog might have had a chance at saving the penalty if he had not persited in jumping up and bashing the bar before the kick - he did not look prepared and IMO made it easy for James.

 

Well done James for putting the ball in the back of the net with confidence.

I thought the keeper was performing a cunning stunt there. Making noise, making himself look big, everything a keeper should do to put off the penalty taker. Mr Cool stepped up though and wasn't being phased by any of it. Well done Sauls.

agreed...hedgehog (surely we should be calling him rutherford by now?) was as intimidating as he knew how...and sauls calmly slotted the ball home ..calm as a coma...

still think it was my manly encouraging chant that may have helped
