Non-SLough question for you Bat - what do you make of Watford appointing a total random as manager?

Not answering on behalf of, but thought I'd throw in my two penneth....my first thought was, "who?". He seems to be well respected and it's a fine line isn't it. I'm sure a few years ago Wycombe fans were apprehensive about appointing Martin O'Neill into his first managerial post but look at how that paid off and look where he is now.

 

Mind you, referring to Watford's approach in the past of appointing a certain young manager is ridiculous and immediately puts pressure on the poor guy. Ok, he'll be thinking, just seven promotions, a record number of manager of the month awards, an FA cup final, UEFA cup appearance and runners up in the premiership to emulate!
