I haven't listened to this album for a couple of years, but played it relentlessly when it first came out.

 

Wow! This is quality! I remember now why I love the Charlatans so much!!

 

Probably second best band of the 90s after Blur, I reckon.

What's your favourite Blur album, Sun king?

It does vary from time to time, but generally I would say the 1997 self-titled album with Beetlebum on it.

 

Parklife and Modern Life Is Rubbish not far behind.

 

The Great Escape (especially the second half) is a lot better than people give it credit for. He Thought Of Cars is a brilliant song and The Universal is quite beautiful - possibly my favouite Blur song though there are so many to choose from.

I would say the self titled one is my favourite. Best song on there is "You're So Great".

Modern Life would come a close second in my list.

I have a real soft spot for 'Badhead' off Parklife, if the mood takes me. Prob my favourite Blur track.
