If Art Brut's lead singer is a socialist commie who hates capitalism and big corporations, then why has he named himself after the UK's biggest general merchandise retailer with annual sales of over £3 billion?

I think, bizarrly, you're getting Carter and Art Brut mixed up again, a common mistake usually reserved for The Beatles and Oasis!

I think he was copying the singer out of Carter who named himself after a large Northern Supermarket chain that is currently invading the South of England.
