Clean Up Our Game

Bloody wristbands.

I'm sorry but I don't see what difference all these fashion accessories are going to make.

Surely when one of the idiots who do whatever these wristbands are trying to rid the world of, sees these wristbands they will just do it even more? (Well in the case of racism and bullying anyway. Maybe not with the football-related one.)

*Prepares to get slaughtered.*

I thoroughly agree with you Darren. They mark a pointless, trendy fashion statement and often bear no link to the wearer's true thoughts. Instead of conforming to stereotypes, why not give money to charity anonymously? There really is no need to flaunt good will in a celebrity-like manner amongst friends, or still worse, like footballers, in front of the television cameras.

I'll bet a large sum of money that countless fotballers wearing the green 'Clean Up Our Game' wristband will swear or act in a vulgar way during the day's action...

I also agree, all my friends at school have those stupid bands, wot difference does it make?

Agreed, so then why should a Vicar wear his dog coller or muslims wear their turbans? They wear them becuase they are proud to be the way they are. Now the wrist bands look tacky (I have the anti racism one and wear it partly because one of the Nevielle brothers doesn't like it.) but its as important as the worlds leaders condemning the Qater car bomb the other day, doesn't make the slightest bit of difference the terrorist will still do what they do but if people don't speak out against it and show there against it then everyone else will believe it's the right thing to do.

Don't be silly. Yoda in a hat? It just wouldn't work.

I've got a Jimmy Jackson baseball cap and that works very well thank you.
