By the way, the two chances for us near the end, the one on one and the one that hit the inside of the post both fell to Junior McDougald, not Steino - he would have tucked them away!

Apologies - its never easy when you're at the other end of the ground & you dont know the opposition - one thing that would help to some extent at least when play is nearby, would be to have squad numbers in the programme - it seems daft that the players all have set numbers for the season, and yet the programme numbers them 1 to 11 (etc) - the Yeovil programme was more helpful in nshowing the full set of squad numbers and giving people space to note the starting 11 (and subs) if they wished.

 

Equally, players names on the backs of shirts should assist but our names are difficult to read because of the lettering size and alternate letters of the Dagenham names are lost in the darker stripes on their shirts. If we are going to have names on shirts, lets at least make them legible, or they might as well not be there.

 

Here endeth my little gripe ( and from Saturday onwards, just think, you can have an Alan W free week - so peace and quiet for all except any other poor souls down at Butlins in Minehead !!) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/bounceblue.gif" alt="" />
