Well, maybe this will help you........

 

2. I stole the entire Top 75 in 1989 but got away with it as the plain clothes security pulled me before I stole the new releases and I denied it, however my friend grassed me up and told them he knew I had Buffalo Stance by Nenah Cherry and in the time between leaving the police station and them coming round to converscate my record collection I hid the record under my bathroom carpet. I'm still banned from every Woolworths in the country

I hadn't heard that one either. I must admit to being pretty sceptical about the accuracy of it, as 75 singles is a fair few to nick. Would have required a fair bit of logistical planning I would have thought.

 

Here are the next four facts, should help narrow it down further.

 

3. I got told off for sending an old boss absusive text messages after he sacked me because I didn't want to spend my entire life filling coolers up with cans of coke.

 

4. I was mugged and then got arrested for robbery as they thought I'd staged it.

 

5. I got told off again for having a copy of one of my ex-girlfriends flat key and going in when she wasn't there and turing lights on and moving things, genrally to make her think she was mad (which she was for dumping me)

 

6. I've been told off a couple of times for walking past coppers when they are questioning black people and saying "Just because they are black"

As far as I know his career is on the up. He was recently involved in the recording of a home shopping programme, and is soon to front a new skateboarding / indie music channel.

 

These final four clues should give away the stars identity.

 

7. I had my name taked after pulling a moonie on the pitch at the full time whistle of the Forest Green v St.Albans City FA Trophy semi-final after we lost

 

8. I got a conditional discharge after breaking a window at Chas'n'Dave in Worthing and banned from the Worthing Pavillion, when they returned 3 years later so did we and were promptly ejected again and this time banned from all Worthng council properties.

 

9. I got my name taken after a one man pitch invasion when we scored our 3rd goal in a 3-0 win at Aylesbury, I was led off 1970's holligan style across the pitch and threatened with a shotgun and a spanner by a Aylesbury bumkin, my Mum was there and had to negotiate my release.

 

10. I got a caution for possession of 7 E's.

You are correct. It was indeed our very own celebrity fan Mr Colin 'Sniffer Thorns' Toms.

 

Regarding the use of TV Presenter, his words not mine, as per his friends reunited entry.

Well I'm still working for Silverlink in control at the moment, still doing some DJ-ing and stuff when I can.

Yeah, something here doesn't ring true - 75 records is a) very bulky, and B) very heavy.

 

Also... back in the 80s/90s, Woolworths only stocked the Top 50 singles.

 

And more also... Woolies have never done a 'new releases' section. All new releases appear in their shop as part of a projected chart for the following week, done on pre-sales.

Incorrect - in 1989 Woolies stocked the entire Top 75 singles, there was a rack by the counter with both sides full of the singles, in them days they did the proper Top 75 and had a new release section, they only started doing the whole pre-sales/prediction thing a few years after.

How else would I own Cheryl 'Pepsi' Riley's Thanks For My Child which spent one week at number 75?

 

75 7" singles aren't that heavy especially after doing it in about 3 trips!

So at what point were you after the new releases when you got pulled ?

 

Did you have the 75 7"'s concealed about your person at the time ? If so I would suggest that the security guard wasn't up to his job.

 

I've just seen your post about making 3 trips so ignore the above.

 

Did you have 25 7"'s on your person then ?
