BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND

Recommended Posts

This is a big weekend for us...Both games are a must win.

the possible final points are as follows (in current league positions)

Yeading PP 96

Braintree PP 88

Eastliegh PP 85

Billericay PP 91

Hampton PP 80

At the mo, our possbile points get us second, so the best result for us at the Braintree / Yeading game is a draw. If we can win both our games and beat Yeading saturday week, a tough call, we're in with a shout...

Lets not under estimeate our oppo...Chelmsford are on a good run and Wealdstone will be no push over. The lads have done us proud so far this season so lets get behind them this holiday season and spur them on to greater things...

Gazza, wins for both Braintree & Ricay the following week are the best for both of us.

I see your big test (apart from Yeading) being the home/away v. Chelmsford. If you take 7/9 points then it could be your year!

With our injuries at the moment, defeat on Saturday will probably leave us to 'concentrate on the play-offs'.

I don't agree with that assessment IW - Yeading have got the harder remaining fixtures, with more potential banana skins. If we beat Yeading Saturday week, win the game in hand (Chelmsford on Monday) and you draw on Saturday then we're top on GD <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Bit of a long shot mind you... For me, after Yeading on Saturday Braintree have only got the one tough fixture (eastleigh) where a side with championship ambitions could consider dropping points.

Oh and stop banging on about your injuries - we've had key players missing for all bar 2 league games this season.
