I must admit one of my dreams is to see us survive in conf. south and have a solid pre-season.

 

I would be happy if most of the squad were retained for next season(2/3 exceptions only imo);and indeed that they wanted to stay.

 

If we could have a sensible pre-season, i am sure this squad will be so much stronger next season, having learnt alot..

 

You often find that clubs that do well are the ones that have few changes of personnel over the summer months

I cannot think of one player that I imo would like to see leave MFC,would like to see add to the sqaud,make player know if he has a bad game that someone is looking over him to take his place,that makes a good side but we cannot do this without the ground starting and the embargo being lifted.

Building lorry outside the ground this morning. But before you get carried away, it was only for some work on the path opposite the ground in Hartsdown road. Still it makes a change from the usual "nothing" being there. Cant seem to even get my hopes "built up" let alone the ground.

Heard today from two sources that nothing has yet been signed concerning the ground re-build.Has any-one else heard this and as to what this might signify.

I heard from a very reliable source,I cannot say who, (I promise I am not a time waster or rumour monger),that absolutely nothing has been signed,for some reason the council eill not sign because of uncertainces over certain matters.I am led to beleve these could be certain finan <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />cial matters which the club have admitted have still to be resolved. I hope my info is wrong, but time really is running out. If Cookie is getting P*****ed of then things really are grim.No one has done more than him recently and if the club are now mugging him off then God help us!!!!!

Surely our wonderful, supportive council could not possibly be holding things up? Oh hang on, it's a public holiday, we know what happens then.

I'm just annoyed that since we had the permission to go ahead with the ground things have gone at a snails pace. I would have thought there would be an urgency to get started. I am in no way saying that we wont get the ground but its this waiting that is getting to me. The silence and delays make it all so frustrating. Things need to be spot on I know but theses things should really have been done BEFORE we got the o.k. We should have been more prepared, more ready to get an immediate start.We really need some action soon.

Realistically, Tony, we were probably a bit ambitious to imagine anything happening before the Easter break, maybe things will start moving once the holiday is over. I hope so, but agree with you that to see a start made would mean a great deal, and put an end once and for all to the horrendous uncertaincies of the last few years. It tries my patience, and where the survival of our Blues is concerned I never had much anyway.

All I want is to see some concrete indications that we are going home, not just talk.

Final day of the countdown and on this day Nothin! But after meeting at club we have the go-ahead DATE for tuesday next. (Yes,I know lets just wait & see) but KP has said this will be the day they move on site.. He mentioned this to be a "fact".
