Dagenham Game...that hasn't already been said (I think !)

Greetings pop pickers !!

 

A few items that I thought of from last night....

 

1 - good to see a big crowd last night ( and they don't come much bigger than the D & R physio...nice to see he took the famous old hymms in good spirit !!)...hopefully more big crowds to come in future games.

 

2 - FAO Two Jags Prescott - Public transport ? was there any sign of a bus into Gravesend after the game ? was there XXXX !! If you are going to tarmac the whole of Kent then sort out a bus for Blairs sake !!

 

3 - when is the official opening of the re furbished bar ? and will there be Strongbow ? I note John Smith's and Fosters recently...don't tell me you have gone S&N ??

 

4 - Talking of Strongbow....pre match "apple juices" in The G & D...very pleasant....then for some reason my mate buys me a Kronenberg !! why ?

 

5 - Did the Dagenham fan with the trumpet get on anyone else's tits ??

Ok...so I didn't expect many replies to my attempt at provoking discussion of a light hearted nature.....but thought someone could provide an update on the blo*dy Bar situation ? after all...this is serious !!! ( especially as we will be confined to the "Bar End" end on Saturday !!)

Yes.....do you know that it didn't even occur to me to get the train back to Gravesend......a good idea though ( especially as the were no buses...and traffic queued up for a while).

 

I saw in earlier postings that the train times may be advertised on this site or in the programme .....which is a good idea....

 

I will remember the train option for future reference....cheers..
