Seb Clarke!

I haven't posted here on a while, but i went into London last night, to The Borderline near Tottenham Court Road, and I saw this amazing band!

 

I originally went to see The Dirty Feel, who were supporting, but they weren't that great. HOWEVER! The headlining band were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!They had a full brass section and an amazing front man who reminded me a bit of elvis costello/paul wellar with the way he played guitar.Seb Clarke are my new favourite band!

 

anyone else heard of them?

 

Also, saw a band called Kovak who were the second support group. They were okay as well!

Never heard of em, saw Nevermore and Firewind on friday at the underworld which was amazing. Another pub to my listings in London. So far I have 5 amazing pubs taht should be visited by everyone.

I think at the end of each month, MAD, you should come on here and list all the pubs you've been to that month, as well as the bands you've seen and people you've shared a pint with.

sounds good. Well I dont often go to London, but here are the 5 pubs that everybody should visit

1. The Crobar on Charring Cross road, best juke box around.

2. The Intrepid Fox (near Chine town I beleiv, 5 mins walk from the crobar)

3.Garlic and Shots (not too sure but inbetween the crobar and intrepid fox somewhere)

4.The Worlds End, camden, next to the underworld. Play good tunes depending on the band playing that night.

5.O'Neils or O'Conners right near leicster square. Great Catholic theme going on in there! Also near the best burger bar in the world, ED's.

The Worlds End is in my list of pubs I've visited and some people in them are on my shared pints list, what a small world!

The World's End is far too 'mainstream' for my liking, really. It's a bit like the Vintry, just with good music and in a good location.

 

When it comes to drinking in London, you can't beat Whites really!

I've been to that Oneills you're talking about MAD, its quite good actually!

Waxy O'Conners is what the pub is called near leicster square. Has a big tree in the middle of it.
