Anselin

Interesting on the RK interview with Daish - sounds like he's got Deane and Anselin in without really knowing much about them as a circumstance of our injuries/suspensions. Think those two will have to prove themselves to stay beyond the close season... but then I guess that's true of everyone.

Odd, then, that Liam managed to put out a winning side yesterday without including either of them in the starting line-up. Still, we haven't seen Deane yet and not really enough of Anselin either to make a fair judgement, so we'll just have to see how things pan out.

Stranger still if we are panic buying midfielders when its defenders and forwards that we are light on.

I thought Anselin looked willing to get stuck in yesterday but didn't do much when he got the ball. It must be difficult to play when he probably hasn't had a chance to learn our players names yet.

If my eyes didn't deceive me Andy Drury played right back ( albeit briefly ) yesterday. After seeing Jay moved to centre back and Jacko bought on as a right winger in previous matches I find that almost as worrying as the suggestion that we should put the reserves out against Dover on Tuesday.

I could understand experimenting with Jukebox up front but moving our most dangerous players to areas where they can't hurt the opposition doesn't seem very clever to me. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Yes, but it was only for about five minutes at the most. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about.
