Vs Carshalton....

On a better pitch we would have won.

The ball bobbled around terribly.

Like CK, to see two howlers from PT in one week is a bit too much to take.

I was getting excited about a nil-nil draw and that the defence looked ok albeit against a very pooor Carlshalton.

Not my favourite player but i thought Edwards together with JK and Smith looked very sound today.

I also thought Barnett had a decent game.He started in midfield and gave us some much needed strength and power in that position. Then CK wanted him deeper, then further forward-poor guy was dizzy, but overall had a decent game.

Watson gave us so more that Moses.

Che was virtually absent today.

Alex is not ready for this standard yet.

PT is too small and also too cocky.

Above all we miss Gradley-a bit of guile in midfield.

Add Gradley to Greens pace and we may just survive

Yet another dark day in a dark season for margate fc. I'll be honest im worried, very worried. Couldnt be their today coz of work but we can blame only one person for the plight of our football club. SE and Thanet council. Whats gonna happen if we get relegated. Margate fc will never look the same.

1. CK and KR will leave. Who's good enough to replace them?

2. Mass exodus of players like JK, GO, Stadhart, Clarke, Our best players!

3. Will our ground be built?

4. Most humiliating being the fact that probably be only one league above Ramsgate or Herne Bay.

WHY HAS THE EMBARGO NOT BEEN LIFTED. I WANT ANSWERS. In the next few games Trego's injured and Hussain's gonna be in goal and he couldn't catch a cold. Big Big problems to come.

Sorry guys this isnt very morale boosting but this is a very low point in time for me.

It is looking very bad with teams around us picking up points, but we just have to keep fighting, and hope next week its us with the lucky goal and the 1-0 win. With alot of determination, its do-able, and i'm sure everyone will agree, we owe Grays a goal or two in the back of their net. I can still hear some of their fans singing 'justice' at the end of the FA cup tie. It's one of those games i just feel 'up for' now, i know i havent made many this season, but i've lived the ups and downs, and i'll be there friday, i emplore (if i've spelt that correctly) to get as many of us at the game as we did at the protest, or even more. We have to keep on fighting as much as the team and CK does

We will survive in answer to Lovepug 13. Yes, we are making it hard for ourselves but we will do it. I have every confidence in those that give their all but am concerned I must admit that those that should be putting the ball in the net are just not doing it.

Agree with those that say Watson makes a difference. With just a couple of touches he looked a class above others up front that were so lacking in direct approach. Watson is needed more on the pitch than in the dugout. About time CK put out the best players at his disposal for longer periods.Watson must be used more. Even if he dosent always pull things off he does scare the **** out of opponents.

Alas I think against Grays we are in for a tonking so we will have to concede on that one but thereafter we really must go for it. But then again we have won against the odds before so who knows? Maybe for that game we should play a 1-10-0-0 system and try and just keep them at bay and look for a point.I know PT has made a few errors lately but I still think that overall he is a good keeper therefore I am not going for the 0-11-0-0 formation.

I am not going to point a finger at any of our players. We have a poor team at the moment, mostly because we have no strength and depth, players are having to play out of position, and players are having to play even if injured, or might I say, occasionally unpaid. They must all be totally knackered, as I see them each week giving it all they have got. And I suppose having fans who jump all over them and spout gloom and doom every time one of them makes a mistake, or has a bad day, does not help.

Have we an alternative? Not at the moment. But I will keep faith with them, and with CK, who always seems to make mountains out of molehills, or in other words, a battling team out of a depleted squad. After all, they are the only team we have got, or at the moment are likely to have. Poor game today, but anyone at Crawley on Tuesday would have been hard pressed to say we were not playing with a quality that would do justice to the Conference proper.

Yes, John, we have to keep fighting as long as CK and the team do. I have not seen them give up yet, even if I am exasperated at times when they do their jekell and hyde bit. And have a bit of faith in CK's team selections - he knows more about the situation in the changing room than do we.

And where has all the support and togetherness gone that we had when we were fighting for our very survival? Instead of carping on about those gallant lads in blue, who are keeping going for us, (and remember, were it not for this battling on we would not have a team to follow), if you want to whinge about anyone, have a go at those who have obstructed and denied us the opportunity to get home, last year this year, and if they have their way, at any time. We are nearly at the point of beating them, and I firmly believe we will beat the drop too.

Come on guys, have a little root around and find some cojones, stiffen the resolve, and keep behind the team.

As for Grays ... Bring it on!

Up the Gate.

well said june and keep the faith. WE were so much better than them today even their directors could not believe their luck afterwards. I really feel that had we scored the flood gates would have opened. Grays tough but nothing, nothing to lose. Peter t in the car park thought he should have done better but was was he fouled. The game should have been out of reach by then. WE need three wins and if we dont get them and create chances that we miss then it will be our own fault,

You previous posters are being a bit unfair to Trego over the goal conceded. From the halfway line it definitely looked a foul. I think most refs would have blown, but Mr Mason was miles from the action at the time. Incidentally from my position Keister looked man of the match today- he seems well suited to this role at the back.

Tbh didnt look like a foul on trego just a silly error [****!!****] happens.

Was a bad game today with two bad teams playing, no one desrved the win based on the football that was on display.

Clarke should have done better with the penalty and are midfield was somewhat Anonymous for large portions of the game.

The only bright spots of the game was a solid performance from Bill,JK & Smith at the back (mind you are opostion wernt of the highest quality), and a very good performance from darren watson he was real threat shame we just didnt produce anything for him to score from but he made some impressive run for him self and was a real meance today.

Hopeing the Gate performance on friday will be a much improved one as i cant stomach another whiping from grays this season.

Yet, Im very happy with the 3 Points. Your side may have deserved better from today's final Score. Being down the other end for the 2nd half i agree to the fact you had alot of possesion in the 2nd half and one freak incident got us the 3 points. But i felt the first half was fairly even.

We couldnt see the penalty appeals but its up to the Ref. Perhaps he felt that he made a wrong decision for the first and was sorting that out <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />.

Also to be fair. the Number of silly Yellow Cards that game was ridculous.

anyhow, it will be tough for battling relegation sides but with you team, you look a good strong side. who couldnt put much passed our keeper on good form.

I hope you agree with us but are keeped kept us in the game.
