Waltham Abbey's season could have a showpiece ending as the Middlesex Millennium Cup Final will be played at Brentford's Griffin Park ground on Thursday 19 May. Abbey entertain Harefield United in their semi final on Easter Monday at 3pm. The other semi sees Enfield Town's landlords, Brimsdown Rovers, away to Ruislip Manor on Monday 14 April.

Now that will confuse Abbeynut big time...A pub on each corner! Anyway, how do they get to play in the Mean It Mick Cup? They are an Essex-based side. Why can't we go in it...Only two junctions round the Magic Roundabout from Middlesex, so surely that qualifies?

It's an invitation cup to celebrate the Middx Millenium. Group matches were played pre-season.

Invites went to clubs whose location is or was in the Middx County... Waltham Abbey was many moons ago!

BTW the winners keep it forever!
