FAO Supporters Committee

Afternoon

When was the last Supporters Committe meeting?

Is it possible to get the minutes put up on the Supports Website?

Also do we still put posters up around the town?

I am not trying to cause trouble just being nosey and finding out what the supporters committee is up to. Especially to find out how much you have raised for your cause so far. I understand if you do not wish to put the amount on the forum but if someone could email or text me that would be great.

Hope things are still going well.

hi Paul

No problem at all mate we've got a newsletter coming out in the next couple of weeks, which outlines everything you've mentioned. regarding most of the points the the amount raised thus far is around the £2.5 - 3k mark in terms of profit I don't know the exact figure off top of my head, but feel free to ask Cindy and Nobby tomorrow. In terms of turnover we've have taken substantially more, but we had to pay out for all the club shop stuff, polo shirts, fleeces hats, badges etc etc up front, so outgoings have been high, but as all thats get sold will up that profit mark substantially as there are no more outgoings this season, so we are on course for between £4.5 - 5k by May. To let you know we have new metal badges in the club shop this week which look fantastic. I will speak to Malcolm about next supporters club minutes and get him to put on the site. Off the top of my head not sure when the next open meeting is, but check the notices outside the old club shop tomorrow, will all be on the dates for your diary sign. We have a quiz night tomorrow which would be great if you could get a team down for, and the Easter raffle will also be drawn tomorrow at the quiz night. The last race night at the stag raised £628 profit which was the best so far, so all in all a great success so far and all on track. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please just fire away, always happy to answer. As I say the newsletter which will be coming out shortly should answer all questions. Hope that answers everything!

Thanks for that mate.

Looks like your doing well. Investing in the club shop was definately a good idea and I am sure you will make your money back and some. So the money target is looking good. Is the aim still to work on the club house? I have also heard rumours about cover behind goals but as we all know this rumour has been going round for years so I take it with a pinch of salt.

See you tomorrow

cover behind both goals has been mentioned, but as we committed at the start of the season to spend it on the club house, it wouldn't be right to change midway through, so yes will be spent on the club house, which hopefully will help with hiring out the place more and ultimately more money for the club. The cover behind the goal is something I would like to put forward as an idea for next season's fundraising activities, but obviously needs to be a collective decision for all supporters. I agree with the club shop I think this season we were finding our feet and next season with the suppliers we've found, it'll be a little goldmine, and we can consistently have new lines of clothing and items coming in.

see you tomorrow mate and three points!
