he is a nice fella yes , just didnt work out for him at wakering . He would get a good half hour run out in my side when Healey could not resist the Fosters in the clubhouse any more !

How the hell you haven't put Andy Hall in goal I will never know. He is by far the best keeper in the league and if it was not for his lyalty would be playing at a higher level.

Chops is quality but I feel it is a disservice to a few keepers in this league with equal loyalty to their managers and clubs and not motivated by money to say "by far the best" In particular I was impressed with teh W Abbey keeper when we played them and the chap at Bowers.

I would not have the temerity to include myself in such a list. It's out of respect for other keepers. I know how good or bad I am and my weak areas and strengths.I do not need to tell anyone. People can make their own minds up. I stand by my statement that there are several keepers in this league who would grace higher up the pyramid as well as plenty of outfield players.

Too right Sawbo there are some great players in the esl, this obvious when playing teams higher up in the pyramid. I've yet to see an esl team embarrass them selves against higher opposition.

Of that there is no argument. This season has seen some great cup runs from ESL teams and good luck to all ESL teams who are now in the latter stages of such competitions.

as i said fellas , its only people i have had the chance to watch , obviously if i watched every team in the senior league i could probably replace 8 or 9 players . How else can i explain MIMIB being in the final 11 when he hasnt played for 2 years !!!

Shouldn't it be called Mean it mick Magnusons dream-team of his MATES and people that he has played with (oh,and a few players that he's heard the name of like Danny Heale).

 

His list lost all credibility because of two factors.

 

1. He didn't include any players from the team that has by FAR the best record in the ESL in recent years.A team that has won every Essex league honour available.

 

2. He included an injury prone streak at the back.

I don't think you've done your own credibility much good with such an unnecessary and over-sensitive reaction!

 

Given that he stated his selection criteria when he made his list, you can't really argue with him. Try this then - why not compile your own Dream Team out of ESL players that MMIM knows?

one keeper better I am pleased to say Neil Finn
