We all wish Scott all the best for his future career, and thank him for his service to Hornchurch Football Club.

What a loss! In any team we have had, Scott will always be my number 1 right back. Sorry to see him go, one of the true Urchin players who could have departed in Nov, but he stuck with us.

Good luck Scotty, joined us as a Centre Back and in the first season I could see there was quality there.

Consistent performances and SG kept his place and I would say that in our "opening" team for this season Scotty made the Right Back place his own.

Well done mate and a Diamond Bloke at that.

Scott Gooding - this season - 33 appearaces plus one NPS.

 

(That makes it one more than Danny Shipp who stood at 23 starts plus ten sub appearances).

 

No other player can overtake either of them for appearances this season.

 

Scott Gooding - last season - 43 starts plus twelve subs - not sure how many were NPS as my records are not complete for last season as regards which subs came on.

Heard a lot of good things about SG last week and never realised how much effort he put into being at HFC.

 

I suppose Crawley is nearer home for him, so now must be the time to purchase that bike.
