Boxes of fake condoms have been discovered in UK pharmacies and shops leading to a major product re-call today.

The bogus condoms - which are 10 times more unreliable than the international standard - have appeared in fake Durex packaging.

Thousands of the “convincing” counterfeits were first discovered in the Republic of Ireland and reported by the Irish Medicines Board.

Three complaints were made in England about empty foil packets and the remaining condoms in these boxes were tested and found to be fake.

 

 

Now how on earth do they work out they are '10 times more unreliable'?

How about one in ten fails to work instead of one in a hundred. The boy who applied for the job as tester with a smile and full of expectation is now lying in the corner trying to revive his tenderest parts. Knackered, but can't wait to tell the lads about this when he gets in the pub tonight.

 

Thing I can't get used to is why these are on sale in a catholic country where the head man tells them they can't be used. Maybe they are only available to tourists. Unless of course they are only available for sale to drugs mules.

I just happened to notice the shelves in my local Superdrug ('Arold 'Ill) and thought it appropriate that while the shelves of condoms were completely full (and the front ones a bit dusty), they were clean out of pregnancy tester kits.

met a rep from durex once, she told me the complaints dept. have people sending them back faulty even half full, some people are right wan!ers
