I bought my scarf just before the Tamworth game from club shop. You may remember we won that game 2-0.

 

On the day before the Slough game I almost left it at work and had to run back to get it, we won that game 3-2.

 

On the day of the Scarborough game I left for the match without it and again had to go back to get it, we won that game 4-0.

 

On the day on the Bishop home game I left for work without it by the time I had realised it was to late and had to procede to the match after work. We obviously lost. I blame myself, I blame the lack of scarf.

 

I'm not a great believer of supistisions but if I do something and it works and I keep on doing only for it to still work and then I stop doing it and it stops working then I blame myself.

 

I'm not saying every time I have my scarf we'll win just that if I don't have it with me and we lose I blame myself.

Well, I was beginning to think I was a jinx on teams I have tried to support as the last time I saw Gravesend win was..... I can't recall, but earlier this season. I have not seen Hamilton Accies win for about 5 years now!!! But at last, I was at Charlton last night and they recorded a fine 2-0 win over Spurs, so my faith has been partly restored!!!!

So what you are saying Col is this...: When you watch your 1st team - we lose, when you watch your 2nd team - they lose, when you watch a Prem club - they win..!!

 

You're part to blame with Harry mate, I suggest, once he's hung himself, take him down and do the same..!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> If not, maybe staying at home and listening to the wireless is a safer option for GNFC...

Well I used to think me buying a home shirt was the reason for our losing streak. I got it the day of the Hornchurch match, wore it every game apart from the Leigh away which I did not go to. Then kept wearing it, did not wear it for the Eastbourne replay, kept wearing it and stopped waering it for the Slough game. It has not been worn since. Might start showing my Fleet colours again though as this superstition seems to be wrong. Anyone think I should take the risk?
