League Cup Final

The League Cup Final will be held at Oakside, Barkingside FC on Monday May 2nd at 3.00pm.

Brings back great memories of our first league cup final win. 1-0 down against Leytscum and big Brad comes up with an equaliser in injury time. That really wiped the smile off their shi**y little captain's face. Then the penalty shoot out win. Boy, was I over-inebriated that day!

i was at that final at Basildon.

Leyton had the last laugh though climbing the non league pyramid while you mugs are still where they was 3 years ago.

Not doing too bad for themselves now are they.

I bet they dont give a t0ss about that cup final.

WE all know why Leytscum have climbed the non-league pyramid. They have a generous benefactor. So did Hornchurch. Need I say more??!!

Your point being? Hornchurch are 6th in Conference South and have had their most entertaining season ever. I'd have some of that!

And hornchurch have now used 8 youth team players in the connie south this seson....and all the lads have done well..some good things have come out of the troubles at hornchurch

I beg to differ with Mean IT Mick Magnesson on the ground at Barkingside. I like it but there is still a matter of getting there and town has had a not very good season against Sawbo to date, so not a certainty we'll get there but nice if we do!

If you sponsor a league it implies you care very much about it so I'd disagree with you MIM on this one.

And yes they get results and are at a much higher level than us. Didn't they put most of their players on the transfer list last week after losing?

I believe our results against Sawbo this year are identical so far so they are just as good as we are. Or are they just as bad? We will be all right on the day. Have faith.

We did not 'pick it' Barkingside FC was the only Club to come forward and 'offer' their ground for the Final and we excepted at our League Meeting last week.
