A petition for Gravesend

When you come throught the gates on Saturday there will be some bloke in a GNFC shirt asking for signatures for our petition against the Gills move please sign.

 

He's not a very smart bloke and somethimes wets his pants but it would do us all a favour if you could sign against franchise football.

They want to move to Ebbsfleet which is near our ground by about a mile. The whole area is being redeveloped with a new ground going to be built. Trouble is they want it and so do we.

 

With the whole Thames Gateway thing and all the new homes the Gills think it's okay to move to our area and cash in on our new potential fanbase.

I see your point. Bit like Canvey moving to Westcliff - Southend United would be devastated to see so many of their fans disappear.
