Tonbridge on Saturday?

jl

Recommended Posts

After Yeadings wobble up we are right back in it. We need a win on Saturday badly. Tonbridge are in the doldrums at the moment so we need a quick start, if we can put them under pressure early they may wilt.

Assuming everyone is fit (bar Goths) my line-up would be

Capleton

Henty Macca Pat Kerrigan

Gallagher Forbes Hunter Dormer

Cousins Armstrong

subs: Trott, Game, Elder, Wareham, Wayman.

If Gallagher isn't fit Cuzz drops back and Nathan comes in.

I bet no-one agrees with that starting xi!!

ps Doesnt Kelly Holmes live in Tonbridge - praps she could save 'em?

My line up would be:

Armstrong Elder

Reckon we'll win 4-1 with Armstrong and Elder getting 2 each. They lost 4-0 at home to Heybridge last week, so if we perform as we can we should really give them a hiding.

Definately go with Nathan up front as he offers us something different - Cuz and Armstrong are a bit similar for my liking. Would also go with Matt Game in centre mid. For my money he's been one of our best players over the last couple of games.

Seeing as its my first blues game for what seems like an eternity id better add my two pence worth.

Capleton

Macca Trott Sapps Henty

Gallagher Game Hunter Dorms

Cuz Elder

Cant put Armstrong in the starting line up as i havent seen him play (good thing im not manager).

I predict a tough start, but as the game wears on we'll start to pull away and end up winning it 2-0 or 3-0. Heres hoping.

While im at it, does anyone have any decent driving directions? The ones i got from msn map point look a touch confusing. Games in London are so much easier, good old A-Z.

James....Just picked this off their site..Dunno if it helps you...

From M25

Exit the M25 at junction 5, and follow the A21 southwards towards Hastings. Ignore the junction less than 1 mile further on with the A25. After a long downhill run and 4 miles after leaving the M25, exit the A21 for the B245 through Hildenborough towards Tonbridge (NB Tonbridge is not signposted at this junction). 3 miles after leaving the A21 dual carriageway, just past the Langley Hotel take the (slightly obscured) signposted left turn (Dry Hill Park Road). After another 400 yards, go left at the mini-roundabout (A227 - Borough Green / Gravesend), then at the next roundabout, by the 'Pinnacles' PH turn left again and follow Darenth Avenue to the bottom of the hill, and the car park.
