also mr chairman waltham abbey have been given a game for tuesday 29th at home to bowers but we already have a cup tie on monday 28th at home to harefield as well as the final with burnham on the saturday

Thought you'd spot that one Coup! Hope they do change it because it's my birthday on the 6th and I don't fancy spending it working then going straight to Basildon for football.

At least we can have an end of season party (depending on the ETT) on a Saturday and I can think of worse places in our league than Bowers' club. Busy at work, but if somebody could suggest it. I am sure it would suit players and spectators better.

Surely Burnham Ramblers v Enfield Town should have been saved until the last day of the season. There is every chance the title wont be decided until the last day and it would have been an excellent way to close the campaign by playing each other.

No doubt somebody would have kicked up if either or both were playing in the League Cup Final two days later.
