...the phrase is 'tactically naive'.

Daish, the players - all of them.

How on earth do you score in the 90th minute and still let them back in?

Heading through Greenhithe railway tunnel having just got the 'we're 3-2 down' phone call, I felt really cheesed off.

We're great against teams that offer nothing but sometimes you got to have other tactical options up your sleeve.

As for Canvey on Saturday... who cares?

Give it a couple of days, you will feel different. I am gutted, totally, but we have been here before so must know what to expect.. Just hope the rest of our matches make up for a very dissapointing show..!!

One small mercy is that we now have less games to play (though I wish not), so our recovery time is better for semi-injured players..!!

I'm not sure what tactics were employed , the speed the ball pinballed, around nobody had time to think.

Composure is the word that comes to mind, someone to put their foot on the ball.

I even got myself an avator but forgot to log in.
Composure, that's what's needed.
Thank you doctor.

Keeping the ball down and playing toe to toe football is where we excel, these poxy long/high balls up front where no-one in a red shirt picks them up is shameful, you'd think we would have learnt by now, instead we keep 'hoofing' it about and hoping there is a red on the recieving end.. not good practice when Roy is cr4p in the air (of late) and Manny is too short to contend for it... Sort it out lads...!!! Keep it low, your style is much more threatening when you do..!!

Well I for one am seriously thinking about going again. Once again I paid good money to watch a game partly ruined by inept officials, and the honeymoon period is certainly over for Mr Diash. How he could leave Sidibe on the bench to when he did is beyond belief. The Stortford No.3 has been booked and was lucky to be on the field and a flying winger could have had him in trouble. As for our defence, it is makeshift and was caught out again. We have nothing left to play for this season and some of the player's need to take a long hard look at themselves in the mirror. Are they good enough for this level??? Unless things are changed, next season could be a long one and I fear for the work done over the last few years. I hope that the foundation laid by Andy Ford do not go to waste and the club can re-group from this and move forward, but this was a wonderful opportunity to win the FA Trophy!!!!

Don't let it discourage you Col, you can't switch off your devotion cos of a 'bad game'.. I agree, we threw the cup away last night, but it won't put many of us off supporting them.. You like me are gutted, tomorrow it will be a distant memory. Saturday will be a test for all involved, we gotta concentrate on the league and finishing where Andy predicited we would... top 10.

Daish and Kimble will evaluate our options and make the right decisions for the club, and if by having a huge 'cull' at the end of this season (expenditure permitting) is the only sensible thing to do, then sobeit.

They will be looking for self preservation as will the players, so hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and move on.. Still gutted though.!

I will still try and get along when I can, I would not stop supporting a team on the basis of one bad performace. I have been a Hamilton Accies supporter all my life, so have plenty of experince of highs and severe lows!!!!! As for the comment about the manager, I don't think anyone called him a Saint!!!! His tactical decisions last night left a lot to be desired, so he has some work to do to convince me he is the right man for the job!!!!!

If everybody stopped supporting the boys just because they played crap we would have gone bust years ago.

If you want to support the Fleet I am afraid you'll have to get used to games like last nights....its all the big dissapointments that make the little victories so special

I think BK was joking, to early to judge the Manager, some of the players yes, we should beat these teams.

But think how Hereford feel as well, and yes it will have an effect on the crowd, the Fleet crowd have never changed over the years.

I am guessing LD is still getting to grips with FT Conference Team management. We don't know what makes him tick, nor do we know how much freedom he has to develop GNFC, whether it's hiring and firing of players or purely down to cash constraints.. I think the latter applies here.

I think (and it is my opinion only) he is making the best out of some very tired players, I'm sure, given the chance/cash, he would build his perfect team, one with plenty of defensive cover and a few talented strikers.

I feel a cull coming, and it aint gonna be pretty.. Next season we will see a hugely different GNFC than we are used to seeing now..!!

Actually FF, I care about the Canvey game on Saturday!!!

Don't think i'd like to have to rely on you in the trenches !! The first battle that didn't go our way, you'd be off....instead of remaining to complete the war !!!( avoiding death permitting of course !)

You'll be there Saturday...I know it !

Cheers,
