Urgent message for G&Ns number 2

"[****!!****] amateur footballers" was the comment I heard you shout after 5 minutes. How do you feel now?

 

I am laughing like a drain at some of the posts on this board. G&N were outplayed for probably 70% of the game by a team from a league below them who had ten men throughout the second half and were away from home.

 

G&N fans, seriously, who played the football last night? It wasn't your lot was it? You got shown up and when it came down to it you lacked the wit and frankly the ******** to put BS away. Your style of play is based on physical aggression and long balls. Look at your centre halves, they are slower than OAPs, with better finishing you could have lost by 3 or 4.

 

As for BS playing dirty, it was only really the left back (No.3) who committed any bad challenges and that is because he was outclassed by the G&N right winger (your only player with any real quality).

 

I'm afraid that BS are not to be intimidated on the park. Dave Rainford ran the midfield.

 

I dedicate this post to all the G&N pikies who I was standing near on the steps next to the main stand. Most of whom were talking about Ultimate Fighting and WWF all night. Ho Ho Ho you [****!!****] mugs - go and watch your end of season video!!!!

Spot on from the Stortford man im afraid. As for Andy Drury he should leave at the end of the season because the abuse he gets from the prats on the halfway line is a total disgrace. The bloke who wrote that Andy told him to F*ck off i sure wasnt shouting encouragement. As the Stortford fan wrote Drury is a talent, a lot of our fans are so stupid they'd get more excited about a punt upfield into the corner for Roy to chase onto than actually witnessing someone who has got talent trying to express himself....Anyone who has any talent at this club, Lovell is another one, just gets slagged off by our moronic fans (and there's a lot of them). Booth was talented but left cos he got abuse, Mark Munday was exactly the same.. Half the fans just want someone who puts a lot of effort in. As a Stortford fan I'd agree that Drury was your best player last night. I'd disagree that our no 3 was outclassed and committed dirty challenges. The one he was booked for was a yellow card offence. The similar tackle minutes later which was deemed a foul? He got the ball. Ludicrous decision in my eyes. Drury has skill but he lacks effort when things don't go his way. As for your lot chanting for Sidbe to come on? He did nothing! All in all, a great spectacle, chances at both ends and respect must go to both sets of players for providing that spectacle. Good luck for the rest of the season.

I really can't understand the abuse Drury gets from the half way line. He creates most of our chances and defenders cack themselves when he is running at them.

Chanting for Moussa is also ridiculous! What has he done in the past 3 months? Bugger all and calling for a player to be replaced does nothing for the players on the pitch.

Stu M - I changed sides from one side of the closed stand to the other and the tea bar side was worse. There were loads of chavs just abusing evryone on the park. Including one who threw a drink at the linesman in extra time. One of them shouted "you don't deserve to be 1 all up" classic.

 

To be honest the lack of any real understanding of the game from the vocal majority reminded me why I don't watch much non-league footy these days.

 

By the way Foubert - BSFCs number 3 was badly exposed by hsi oppo, that was clear to see. He literally had rings run around him.

I'd hardly say rings ran round him Mr Gayle, yes he caused problems but bear in mind that Stortford were missing their left midfielder. On how many ocassions did Drury run rings and make chances? Sometimes players are allowed freedom and space providing that no chances come from it.

As a supporter of another Conference club I've seen Gravesend twice this season and your side gave the single most vicious and unpleasant performance I've seen (for many a year). Over the course of a season and on a home/away basis Canvey just edge you but flip, I thought your lot were animals.

Let's face it, BS weren't dirty, we can be sometimes, no more so than a lot of teams, but we've also as Harry said got a low card count in the Conference this season. Swings and roundabouts.

 

On a separate note, would be interested to hear what the BS fans thought of Roy...? Having been a revelation after signing from them last season, he was barely in either game against them.

No 8, sorry, didn't mean to demean your Fleetbabe, in actual fact it is quite amusing the different opinions voiced on last nights game. I was actually sitting next to a female supporter last night who thought that Drury kept falling over trying to get his oppo booked. History now! Sorry for any unintended offence.
