Liams interview

Maybe he will learn some basic tactical skills from this debarcle and realise when you have an extra man against lower league opposition you have to make it pay ie bring on Sidibe to terrorise their left back who is already in the book ! Then finish them off !

And game though he is - release Pinock for all our sakes !

Ben Surey couldn't pass for toffee last night.

As for Roy, please look interested, please look like you're trying cos you really didn't seem to be from the second half onwards.

On the plus side, I think that Drury and Lovell (pre sending off) played well and the crosses were very good throughout.

Wilko was the best I have seen for a long time and Jacko's goals were both very well taken.

Should have had a penalty near the end when one of their centre backs basically dived on the ball with both hands.

No sour grapes though as BS deserved to beat us in the end as they were more up for it.

We threw that match though.

Erm, is Moussa really that scary? When he came on he hardly skinned their left back, who by rights should have been very tired after a gruelling hundred-odd minutes. I'm just glad Daish didn't bring Moussa on at the end of the ninety minutes when he had his tracksuit off, because we would have been even more ragged during extra-time.

Wonderful to have such a diverse range of beliefs isn't it...?
I cannot believe that Pinnock bears the brunt of a lot of people's vitriol on here when I can only see a player who has one of the best touches at the club.
He's NEVER likely to hit the target on a regular basis but then you wouldn't expect that as he's not that type of player, but as for link play, holding the ball up and allowing others to play off him, I think he's superb.

And he was better than some on the pitch last night - several times he started behind the defender but still managed to outmuscle him and keep an attack going.

Had one good effort on goal in the first half as well which keeper saved well by his post.

Complaints about him going backwards are unfair as well - - if you receive the ball facing away from goal, you go in that direction - and often its not a bad thing anyway if you get the support behind you to lay it back to.

I dont say he's a superstar, but the moans he gets are too often unfair. As has been said elsewhere , he's a midfielder really - not a forward.

As for Ben - not so long ago, we were lauding him for his performances and his England call up. He hadnt played a first team game for some time before last Tuesday, and had had 2 hard games before last night in a short time - perhaps they just caught up with him a bit.

Equally, with the rest of the team, perhaps Saturdays efforts took more of a toll than we first thought. 10 men for 70 minutes isnt easy.

Not excuses, but probably all part of the equation.

When Moussa came on he hardly got the ball ! He had half a midfield & half a defence behind him.

Yep he`s hot & cold but no way can you judge him on that last 15 mins. He should have came on halfway thru the 2nd half - its been said before he could`nt have done much worse than anyone else. Gledders even beat that LB for pace !

Sidibe didn't do anything when he did come on, although he's hardly played lately. As for terrorising their left back, how many more fouls did he need to commit before getting a red, he brought down Drury at least four times.

Okey doke peoples.

Pinno is the BEST at the club for holding the ball up

Moussa should IMO have come on earlier but as the game wore on Daish was right to leav it till the last 30mins extra. Problem then was Moussa didnt have any time to get into the game - How can the fans that watched what he did to Stevenage slate him.

I have had enough of people wanting rid of Moussa and Drury - they are our most talented players - to get rid of them would be tactical suicide.

As for the abuse at Drury i felt like giving the bearded idiot that called him a ************ a piece of my mind - he should feel lucky i didnt.

Agreed FF - as has been said before, its why I feel he takes more flack than he should - whilst he should probably get more goals than he does, much of the criticism of Pinno stems from his failure to score regularly.

I've always felt his best position would be sat in behind the front 2 to create opportunities for them.
