Sorry, my fault as I wrote the Pyramid report.

 

Thought the game was awful - not Gravesend's fault as you played the game as any would when a goal up and down to ten men. Stortford didn't have a clue as to how to break you down and this made for a poor spectacle.

What happened to unbiased reporting? I'm going to tell Martin W on you. As it happens I have only seen Stortford play worse than that once this season. I have a feeling that your fixture congestion problem will be eased tonight. See you there.

Surely we were entitled to try and defend a one goal lead when we were down to ten men. Cup football is sometimes all about battling and I think that is what the Fleet did on Saturday and we could easily claim we were robbed. Hope we get our just desert's tonight and march on to the Semi's!!!!!

You are, of course, entitled to get everyone behind the ball and play for that 1:0. That you didn't get it may irritate now and, after tonight's game which should be more open, you will for sure regret having played for the draw. I expect another 2:1 win for Stortford over a Conference team. I'll even buy you a pint in the bar afterwords to discuss.
