Born in the town. Watched the Boro at Brooklands in the 70s. Enjoyed the rollercoaster of the club reforming etc

 

End of the day you don't get a choice in these things. I was never going to run round Romford market in a Liverpool shirt or whoever was winning trophies as I grew up. Watched to many West Ham fans change and claim to be lifelong Arsenal, Man U and now Chelsea fans.

 

So Boro blue and gold it is. You can change your car and your job, but you can't change your football team.
