You only have to look at the Salisbury qualifying game for the evidence. He looked very, very shaky on anything above head height in the area.

 

Mind you, for the large part, he still did a good job for us.

I'd agree with gary on that one...i too was a huge winky fan but allaway was superb at walsall and a much better prospect than the shaky performance whincup gave us in the salisbury games....

i'd say both keepers had their strong points and their weaknesses..and i'd say both keepers have trouble with corners and crosses but are good shot stoppers...and whereas jake's kicking was better than sean's, sean's experience easily outweighs jake's. Swings and roundabouts to me

Who was it that pointed out that we've used three keepers this season and they've all saved penalties - the first one's they've faced in fact? Winky, Shaun and Parky. Good effort.

parky did well for us tonight i thought.

Absolutely. Parky was excellent tonight in everything he did. His all round handling was very secure and his quick distribution was excellent.

The gestures he made were due to the 'compliments' I give him after every save about the strength of his wrists. Call it a private joke if you like. Oo-er.
