Hell hath no fury like a woman accused of being a soap dodger!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Yes, I realise that you are one of only THREE people who are seemingly interested in collecting money (from fellow soap dodgers) on behalf of those walking SIXTY-TWO miles on behalf of the Trust and a very worthwhile charity and for that I am very glad of your tax evading status!

(Blimey, Marcus, she's a feisty one!!)

A) Students are liable for tax on all taxable income the same as everyone else. The fact that they have no income does not make them tax evaders.

b)It is criminal stupidity thet students have to pay for an education. A short sighted and totally counter productive move.

c) It has been proven time and time again that a college/degree educated student will pay much more back to the goverment in tax and NI over the course of their full time enployment even though it starts later.

paul,

thanks for sticking up for us hard working students....

yes we do have to pay tax on goods etc but we do evade council tax...

having said that my student loans are more than enough to be getting on with

and just incase it wasn't clear... the soap dodging comments made above and at all slough games are all in good humour....don't worry!
