Jeez, I get ill for 24 hours and the whole world goes mad!!!

I agree with Ryan, keep it on here...it's a lot better than reading my "bites" and "passion"...

As for the "bite" to Cardiff, UU...a bit harsh me thinks...I've always been told, "acts of friendship are best remembered when not reminded".

TC - one poll coming right up...give me a mo...

Gazza, where have I said I am defending anything, I am just asking questions to which I don't know the answers.

I am sure the truth is out there, now where I have heard that before.

Unc sends his apologies to 'Cardiff' Gazz, there was a smiley next to the comment but no offence was meant.

Its good to hear from Mr Harding that there is no debt at Braintree. I suppose that its a little surreal for Mr Harding being in that position given his other involvements in Non League clubs which have all been burdened with much debt. In fact I understand that one has actually disappeared for ever and its ground sold off for housing development. Growing communities do of course need houses for all so a noble act I am sure.

Still, much experience has been gained by said Mr Harding in his many travels so perhaps its about time he got it right. My searches however reveal that Mr Harding is an employee of Braintree Town Football Club and not of course the major shareholder or indeed owner. So perhaps the club was in pretty good shape when he arrived there recently. With a budget of just 1800 quid a week I am sure that the stable position will continue with much success.

As for the said cash payment, well shiver me timbers and let the albatross fly, I am aghast that such a thing could have been perpertrated by such an upright citizen and beacon of shining light in this murky world of Non League wealings and dealings by gaslight. I am sure there will be a perfectly good explanaion regarding the whole matter and that indeed the said payment, albeit already admitted, will turn out to be nothing more than the repayment of a bet 'tween the two Chairmen involved.

Red Rose Cup.! Yes that does have a very nice feel about it. Although Red Faced Cup would perhaps seem more apt don't you think.
