Is the Voice watching the "Streets" in Braintree ?

People of St.Albans, is your man - The Voice - in Braintree tonight watching the band the "Streets" performing at Towerlands?

Art Brut is the current 'flavour of the month'.

 

After several months of having to hear the man tell me how great The Streets are, I haven't heard him mention them since discovering Edmund and co.

Sniffer put the second Streets album on round John Sherwood's one evening. I think I lasted about 5 mins before nodding off.

 

Not sure what all the fuss is about them myself.

We can all recite lines about 'punch-up's outside the kebab-shop' and 'drinking export-strength lager' over a bontempi-keyboard drumbeat.

I do indeed still like the Streets, however the 2nd album, despite what every single critic and pop star alike may say, isn't a patch on the 1st.

I was tempted to watch them at Brixton Academy last week when that was announced at short notice but it was the same day as the Camden Crawl and seeing bands in venues the size of Ally Pally as they were at the weekend doesn't really appeal to me that much.

Braintree is hardly accessable by public transport either.

Still a big fan but as they haven't toured for about a year or released anything new for a similar amount of time they have lost my intrest due to thier inactivity.
