Did Anyone notice the drainpipe on the Sawbo Clubhouse becoming detached in the wind and hitting a Sawbo official. Didn't look too pleased!

Dave Allen is alive and well, and as he was booked first time he should have been booked second, and then been off. but he was abiding by the rules, did the ref know the rules?

 

as for drain pipes, one also went astray and soaked bubs, but i think junior may have been responsible for that particular leak!

Awful game. I think some of the critisim levelled at us is a tad unfair. Yes we play hard but we are not punching above our weight,we have underperformed this season .It's just we feel that in this league in particular you have to assert your authority on a game before you can play. With the games with the Town it takes a bit longer to take control of a game due to the quality of the players you are playing against. The tackle on Smithy was unfourtunate, it looked like both players went for the ball from where I was and he came of worse. I hope it is not serious? 2 off 2 "slight" deflections no real quality from either side and all still to play for.

 

By the way why didn't any of you introduce yourselves with your website monikas? Apart from Jnr who was quieter than normal- Not well Jnr?

I also dont agree with some of the stuff wrote but havent got the time nor can i be bothered to sqaubble with a bunch or rose tinted supporters.

 

Poor game, to scrappy not enougth football played, just a derbyt like game that was a very tight contest.

 

10 Bookings, Ref was a joke prob the worst ive ever seen got everything wrong including things like throw ons time after time, and 22 man punch up with punches thrown from each team= nothing

handbags at 10 paces= two sendings off!! work that one

 

niggly game maybe from both sides but not really one bad tackle yet ref wanted to be centre of attention and i dont care what you say about no one wents to do it these people obviously do but cant do it properly.

 

all in all the second leg should be a fairly exciting game.

Tom you are right mate it did look bad but it was just one of those that looked really bad as he was late and for that reason it did look bad.

Mark as youve seen is prob hard but fair and it was just poor timimg on his part.

Agree totally. Wheeler mate, nice dummy on the touchline- Fake to clear with your right foot and played the ball off with your left. Lesson for today- Don't take kicking advice from me!!!!!!

Give Sawbo credit,they always give 100%.Whether that's shutting down players,tracking back,determination,intimidation,working over the ref.You name it, they will use every thing that can to get a result.

There was talk on this forum recently about cleaning up the ESL and improving the general conduct.I'm afraid as long as this 'Sunday morning tear-up' mentality continues to bear fruit for teams,there is no incentive to change.

And what makes you think that refs are going to be much better higher up the pyramid LS?

when i asked Lee how long he thought he'd be out for he said he'd have to see how it is after the stich/s.
did anyone else see his sock, it was covered in blood, totally minging!

It's called promotion! The ones that get the highest marks from the clubs are given the chance to move to a higher level. Which means that really, if you want to keep a good ref, give him average marks so he doesn't get moved up or down.
