SPONSORED WALK - TO WORTHING!!

Ian

Recommended Posts

In preparation for the sponsored walk to Worthing on 28/29/30th April, I now have sponsor forms available! For those nutters, sorry, brave volunteers who are actually participating, I will give you forms directly.

Due to the commitment required on this walk and the fact it's over three days, the numbers walking are understandably less than in previous years. It's therefore vital that others also collect sponsorship on behalf of the good causes we are walking for.

You may have seen the recent publicity in the Slough Observer which confirmed that, in addition to the Trust, we are walking on behalf of the East Berkshire Women's Aid, a local charity which supports victims of domestic violence. For those of you watching the recent Comic Relief, you may have seen reference to the work that the Women's Aid charities undertake.

If you would like to collect sponsorship on behalf of these excellent causes, please send me a private message on this forum or an e-mail to: ian@sloughtownfc.net with a name and address of where one can be posted.

PLEASE SUPPORT THESE EXCELLENT CAUSES AND HELP US RAISE AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE.

COME ON YOU MISERABLE GITS!

how much effort is it going to take to go round your office/school and promote these two very good causes? even if you only ask for 50p off of 20 people thats a tenner towards the cause...

I'm even getting Leicester's soap dodgers involved so there's no reason for you not to get involved

lets support the walkers!

Whatever you walkers do - DON'T talk to any pensioners in bus shelters on the front.

That's where the local funeral directors place people until coffins become available ! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/whistling.gif" alt="" />

10% of our support is about 40 people which means only 10% of those have put their names forward.......SO FAR! Message will be in the programme and we'll be doing a big collection at the Windsor game if they allow us to.

Even dear old Woody has already pledged a fantastic £25. Come on folks, if Windsor fans recognise the importance of this........
